How you can create content by making it up as you go
Seth Godin wrote a blogpost about simply sitting down, writing and getting it done.
The particular part of the post that he wrote that resonated with me, and I think it would similarly resonate with many people who think that they can’t write, was his comment around, ‘Have you ever been lost for words when you are in a conversation?’
Record yourself (how do you think I ‘wrote’ this post). Record yourself via a dictation app. If that seems too hard, record yourself having a conversation with a volunteer. Talk to a friend or collegue and record it.
Do whatever it takes to allow the words to flow and to assist you with creating your writing and get it into publication.
Think about any speeches or keynote presentations that you have done. Have these been recorded? Could you get them transcribed? These can be the basis for your book.
Open your mind to the possibilities and you will start to see them.
Still not sure where you could take some shortcuts – send me an email at dyan@dyanburgess.com and we can make a time to catch up to discuss options for your circumstances.
