How to reconnect with the ‘wild’ you
Do you remember a time when you skipped freely down the street?
Or did not worry about what others thought about what you were doing?
Would you like to find that ‘wild’ you again? If you do, perhaps it could assist to free your mind so that you could write that book you have promised your customers.
So how can you find that ‘wild’ you?
Here are some potential ways you could reconnect with that inner ‘wild’:
- Take a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of your daily life.
- Turn off all notifications on your electronic devices – this one is completely free and can be implemented immediately.
- Call a friend from your childhood who can remind you of some times when you laughed out loud, and tears filled your eyes.
- Read a favourite book from your childhood to reconnect with that ‘wild’ you.
While you are doing any of these, consider writing down at least one ‘thing’ that is important to you and why it is important to you.
Doing this can assist you in reconnecting to your ‘wild’ you. Because if you are not connected to yourself, why would anyone else want to be connected to you?
Once you have reconnected to yourself, it is likely that the ‘why’ for writing a book will become so strong that you will be compelled to write your book.
If this sounds important to you, and if you know that you want to write a book. Take the time to sit down and work it out.
Take time out to reconnect with yourself.
Think about how this reconnecting could assist in saving you time and energy.
How? From doing the above activities you are likely to come to one of two conclusions about your desire to put your content in print.
You will decide that you will either write a book, or not. So, make the decision and move on. Stop living in limbo.
